Warranty

Your warranty begins upon the stated date of invoice and expires after the specified mileage or time. The warranty is intended for cars and light duty trucks and are valid for vehicles that have original manufactured parts which have not been modified in any manner that would affect the supplied used auto part. We offer a 6-month warranty on engines and transmissions, and a 120-day warranty on all other parts. Parts installed to a commercial-use vehicle (taxi, bus, tow truck, etc.) are not covered by warranty. Warranty does not cover incidental costs, freight charges, or labor.

No warranty is applicable to any attached accessory part such as switches, electronics, belts, cables, hoses, distributors, fuel pumps, mass air flow sensors, water pumps and manifolds. There is no warranty for parts installed to the wrong make, model or year of vehicle. Airbags, seat belts and tires are sold "AS IS". Parts are not warranted due to vehicle being involved in a collision or failure caused by abuse, misuse or modifications. There is no warranty if the heat tab has been removed, melted or tampered with, and all of Spivey's Auto Salvage, Inc. (SAS, Inc.) identifying marks must remain on any part returned by the customer. Warranty of parts is not transferable to any other party.

On engine installation, we require proof of fluid changes, timing belts, seals, spark plugs, thermostat and radiator. On transmission installation we require proof of fluids and filters. Warranty will be void if not performed by a licensed technician.

Spivey's reserves the right to inspect engine or transmission under a warranty issue at our facility and installed in the vehicle. Many times, installer error can quickly be remedied.
